To develop strategic relationships with community partners that increase the pipeline of talented students choosing UCLA, especially those from historically underrepresented communities.
Goals
- Develop and strengthen reciprocal relationships that engage the academic, cultural, social and intellectual strengths of diverse populations across the state of California.
- Increase UCLA’s presence and visibility by actively engaging in community based activities that align with our mission.
- Cultivate partnerships to increase knowledge, understanding and interest in UCLA as a top choice University.
- Demonstrate our commitment to broad spectrum diversity by developing events that are mutually beneficial to the community and the University.
- Engage and empower community stakeholders (students, parents, caregivers, teachers, principals, administrators and business leaders) around educational issues of access, equity and excellence.
