The UCLA SAT Academy is a free, six week virtual SAT preparation program for underrepresented high school seniors in Southern California.

UCLA Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement partnered with College Board to develop this pilot SAT test preparation program. The curriculum components drew on publicly available lesson plans and included evidenced-based reading and writing (ERW), math, and self-efficacy domains. The goals of the UCLA SAT Academy were to decrease test anxiety and increasing self-efficacy, improve SAT math and ERW performance through practice, and connect students to peer and caring adults.

Due to recent changes in the UC standardized testing policy, there are no current plans to present this program in the near future. Read more about UC testing policy.
