CODE to College is a free, 3-day residential summer program for 8th grade foster youth.

This 3 day, 2 night intensive summer program provided rising 9th grade foster youth with information about being competitive applicants to UCLA and the UC system. This program focused on the importance of higher education and presented students with a preview to the collegiate experience. The program consisted of group workshops, presentations and campus tours. Students accepted to the program received an opportunity to live in UCLA residence halls, giving students the full UCLA campus experience. Students also interacted with current UCLA undergraduates and met with an Admission Officer to discuss their personal academic plan.

This program is currently not planned for 2021. Please contact our office for information about other programs specifically for foster youth.
